REGISTER TO VOTE
If you are not yet registered, now is the time to make a plan. Voter registration is an important first step in making your voice heard in local elections.
To register to vote in New Jersey, you must:

Be a U.S. citizen

Be a resident of New Jersey

Have lived in New Jersey and in your county for at least 30 days before the next election

Be at least 17 years old

Not be currently serving a sentence of incarceration for an indictable offense under New Jersey, another state’s, or federal law

Vote By Mail
With Vote By Mail, you can receive your official ballot by mail, fill it out at home, and return it at your convenience. Once your ballot is completed, you can mail it back or place it in the official ballot drop box. It is a safe, simple, and secure way to make your voice heard.
